Panta Rei - Blue sand steel nib

€230.00

The Panta Rei fountain pen comes in two colors: one light, with pearly ivory tones and warm, luminous reflections; the other more intense, with shades of petrol blue and rock gray. Gold finishes complement both versions. A writing instrument with clean lines enriched by simple details that make the difference. The red detail on the clip introduces a distinctive accent, while a disc depicting a “cavalluccio” horse in high relief atop the cap.

Luciano De Crescenzo’s signature completes the cap, making the dedication explicit (signature with gold filling for the gold nib version, tone-on-tone for the steel nib version, rollerball, and ballpoint versions). Leonardo’s artisanal tradition is expressed in the pen’s craftsmanship and the attention to detail.

Leonardo Officina Italiana presents the first model in the Cavalluccio Rosso collection, born from a collaboration with the Luciano De Cre- scenzo Cultural Association.

Leonardo Officina Italiana presents Panta Rei, a pen dedicated to Luciano De Crescenzo and his way of bringing philosophy into everyday life. The first model in the Cavalluccio Rosso collection, born from a collaboration with the Luciano De Crescenzo Cultural Association, combines Leonardo’s artisanal experience with a wealth of thoughts, images, and stories that continue to speak to generations.

The name recalls the book Panta rei and a reflection that runs through its pages: “Panta rei, said Heraclitus, everything flows.” Time passes, people change, ideas transform. Writing accompanies this movement: it captures an intuition, preserves a memory, and gives shape to something that can be reread and shared.

The collection is named after the Little Red Horse, the protagonist of one of the most beloved scenes in Thus Spoke Bellavista. A small object that became part of the film’s imagery and one of the Association’s symbols: a recognizable link to Luciano’s world, to Naples, and to his art of transfor- ming everyday life into storytelling.

The collaboration takes shape in a design developed jointly by Salvatore Matrone, co-founder of Leonardo Officina Italiana, and Michelangelo Porzio De Crescenzo, grandson of Luciano De Crescenzo and president of the Lu- ciano De Crescenzo Cultural Association. Proportions and details translate this collaboration into a writing instrument.
